Messages you can choose to receive

Longhorn Well Testing LLC offers automated operational text messages to participating contractors and office personnel. Messages concern dispatch assignments, job changes, and company operational notices. This consent does not cover advertising or unrelated companies’ messaging programs.

Message frequency varies with your assignments and company activity. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile carrier’s plan. Ask your carrier about your plan’s charges.

Your choice

Providing a phone number, receiving an invitation, or creating an account does not give SMS permission. Opt-in requires your separate affirmative choice. The consent checkbox starts unchecked, and you can save your profile without selecting it.

You may continue using your portal account without operational SMS. You will not receive these updates by text if you decline. Check the portal and coordinate with the office for updates. Office SMS dispatch and its text responses require participation in the SMS program; this is separate from access to the office portal.

Only enroll a number you control and are authorized to use. Tell the office if you lose access to the number or it changes. Permission for one number does not automatically apply to a different number.

Stop messages or get help

Reply STOP to a program message to withdraw SMS permission. You may receive one confirmation of the opt-out; further operational texts will stop unless you subsequently opt in again. You can also withdraw consent through your portal messaging preference or contact the office.

Reply HELP for assistance, or email tyler@longhornwelltesting.com. Contact the office if your number changes or you need help correcting a messaging preference.

To resume after a STOP request, send START or UNSTOP to the same Longhorn number you opted out from. This removes the messaging provider’s block. Your portal SMS preference must also be opted in for that number; if you turned it off there, sign in and save a new opt-in choice. Sending START does not create an account or grant dispatch permission.

Privacy and service limitations

Longhorn does not sell or share mobile information or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers may process information necessary to operate and deliver this program. Read our privacy policy.

Text delivery depends on network and carrier availability and can be delayed or fail. Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. Do not rely on this program for emergency communications or send sensitive tax, banking, or sign-in information by text.
