Who this policy covers

Longhorn Well Testing LLC operates the personnel, dispatch, document, and invoice workflows described here. This policy explains how Longhorn handles information through this portal and its operational text messaging program. It applies to Longhorn personnel and office users; it does not authorize another company to message you.

For privacy questions, corrections, or requests concerning your information, email tyler@longhornwelltesting.com.

Information we collect

  • Account and contact details: names, invitation email addresses, phone numbers, account identifiers, and sign-in or verification records.
  • Personnel and work records: city and state, qualifications and certifications you provide, assignments, dispatch messages, work dates, rates, invoice entries, and related notes.
  • Onboarding documents: certifications, tax forms, and payment authorization information submitted through the relevant document workflows. Tax and payment forms may ask for additional details that the basic profile does not require.
  • Messaging choices and technical records: SMS consent or withdrawal, the phone number and disclosure associated with that choice, timestamps, delivery events, and security or activity logs. Logs may contain request or device information.

Information may come from you, an authorized office user, or dispatch communications. A personnel or assignment record may exist before its person accepts a portal invitation.

How information is used

We use these records to verify account access, coordinate personnel and jobs, maintain qualification and business records, review invoices, support users, and protect the service. City and state support records and dispatch planning; the basic profile does not ask for a street address.

Automated processing, including AI-assisted interpretation of dispatch text, helps create or update operational records. Authorized office personnel can review and correct dispatch records. An automated interpretation or a self-reported qualification is not itself proof of a person’s identity or certification.

Who can process information

Authorized Longhorn staff access records for their work. Service providers process information needed to operate the portal: Auth0 for authentication, AWS and Railway for hosting, storage and related infrastructure, and Telnyx for messaging and supported dispatch interpretation. Email and other configured delivery providers may process communications they deliver.

We may disclose information as required by law or to address security incidents and protect legal rights. Access to business information remains subject to the purposes described here.

Mobile information and SMS consent

Longhorn does not sell or share mobile information or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

SMS consent is specific to Longhorn’s operational messaging program. We do not transfer that permission to unrelated programs or companies. Providers that deliver and operate this messaging service may process phone numbers, messages, and consent records as needed to provide the service; this does not permit their unrelated use of that information.

Your phone number is required for your personnel profile. Permission to send automated operational texts is a separate, optional choice. See our SMS terms for message types, charges, and how to stop messages.

Records, security, and your choices

We use access controls, authenticated sessions, and protected document workflows to safeguard records. No service can promise absolute security. Do not send tax identifiers, bank details, passwords, or recovery codes by SMS.

Approved invoices are retained as permanent business records. Other records may be retained for operations, security, consent evidence, and applicable recordkeeping obligations. Closing an account or withdrawing SMS permission does not automatically erase past business records or the evidence of your messaging choice.

You can contact Longhorn to request access, corrections, or deletion where applicable. We may need to verify your identity and retain records needed for legal or business obligations. You can withdraw SMS consent without closing your account.

Cookies, external media, and updates

Session cookies support sign-in and security. Opening an external link or loading third-party media, such as a company bulletin video, may allow that provider to process information under its own policy.

Updates to this policy will be posted here with a revised effective date. A policy update does not, by itself, subscribe you to a different SMS program.
